This week we are learning about mister chris columbus. we have studyed his map of where we believe he discovered parts of central america. we watched a short film about other map makers opinions about where columbus landed and what all he saw. we also have been going over king ferdinqand && queen isabella , king john II and different places that columbus has traveled to . we also have been reading about the voyages he took and what all he learned or saw on those trip. My first thought about this class was that it may be hard. im not good with remembering dates or places where things happened. my thought about history is it happened and its in the past let it go, but once you think about it and go thru something that you believe is important you take history different. i think of it as something that someone went thru that may be something like i go thru today. learn from the past, and dont make the same mistakes twice.

Good advice about remembering the past! If more governments followed that, we'd have far less conflicts and wars.
